On Wednesday 12 April the Year 2 classes walked to The Adelaide Botanic Gardens to view the new wetlands as part of their Science curriculum. The boys met Aaron, the Education Officer who explained how they had built areas for cleaning and storing water from runoff from St Peter’s College and surrounding areas. The boys learned hat the Gardens hope to be able to water the whole gardens from the water they now store from the catchment area. It was a sunny day and the boys enjoyed listening to Aaron and following the Water World Quiz trail. After recess on the lawns, and a fun time leaf racing down the water creek the boys walked back to school eager to view water samples under a microscope.
