On the last day of Term 1, students in Years 7 and 8 learned about Easter in Germany and German traditions. They learned that traditionally it isn't the Easter Bunny that brings Easter Eggs, but another feral animal. After some research, they discovered the differences between the Easter Bunny and the traditional Easter hare. Frau McCauley's class of Year 8s participated in a further activity and brought hard-boiled eggs to the lesson in preparation for a traditional Easter egg colouring activity followed by making a card with an Easter poem and greeting. In addition to dyeing the eggs, students enjoyed some experimentation with colours and patterns.
