In Love and War: The Tragic Tale of Philip & Nellie Robin
The tragic tale of how the Great War impacted on two ordinary South Australians. The handsome footballer Phillip de Quetteville Robin (Old Scholar 1897 – 1900) and socialite Nellie Honeywill were madly in love prior to 1914. The pretty Nellie was so besotted by the handsome Phil that she crossed the seas to marry under the pyramids. A few weeks later their lives were changed forever by the legend of Anzac.
But what is the back story to their love and their ultimate deaths.
